Layer paints are designed for precise layering and the targeted highlighting of details on miniatures. Temple Guard Blue is ideal for fresh, vibrant turquoise-blue tones and is particularly suitable for scales, armor, fabrics, magical effects, as well as aetheric or Aztec-inspired color schemes. The paint offers balanced, controlled coverage and allows for clean transitions with clear, vivid color effects.
Layer paints are applied in thin layers, allowing light and depth to be built up deliberately. Temple Guard Blue is excellent for lightening darker blue or turquoise tones or for adding precise highlights without obscuring details or altering the color tone.
For optimal results, it is recommended to slightly thin the paint and apply it in several thin layers. This allows for even coverage and precise highlights.
