Layer paints are designed for precise layering and the targeted highlighting of details on miniatures. Dark Reaper is ideal for dark, cool blue-grey tones and is particularly well suited for armor, fabrics, cloaks, vehicles, as well as gloomy or tactical color schemes. The paint offers controlled coverage and allows clean transitions as well as targeted highlights.
Layer paints are applied in thin layers and allow light and depth to be built up deliberately. Dark Reaper is excellent for lightening very dark blue tones or adding subtle highlights without losing the overall dark impression or covering up details.
For optimal results, it is recommended to thin the paint slightly and apply it in several thin layers. This way, even surfaces and precise highlights can be achieved.
