Layer paints are designed for precise layering and highlighting details on miniatures. Blue Horror is ideal for very light blue and ice-blue tones and is especially well suited for fine highlights, edge highlights, magical effects, frosty surfaces, and brightening blue or turquoise areas. The paint offers fine, controlled coverage and allows clean transitions without harsh contrasts.
Layer paints are applied in thin layers and allow light and depth to be built up deliberately. Blue Horror is excellent for brightening darker blue or grey-blue tones or creating icy light accents without obscuring details.
For optimal results, it is recommended to thin the paint slightly and apply it in several thin layers. This allows for smooth surfaces and precise highlights.
