Warhammer - Citadel Colour: Contrast Kroxigor Scales 29-55
Contrast colours combine the flow properties of a Shade paint with the colour density and adhesion of a Layer paint. With these paints, various areas of a miniature can be painted effortlessly to achieve strong contrasts and vibrant effects. Kroxigor Scales is ideal for bold, cool blue-turquoise tones and is particularly well suited for scales, armour, fabrics, as well as reptilian or aetherial colour schemes.
Contrast Paints function as basecoat and shading in one step. The paint settles in recesses and automatically creates deep, cool shadows, while raised areas remain lighter. Kroxigor Scales provides an intense blue-turquoise with clear, vibrant colour impact.
For optimal results, we recommend light base colours and the use of the primers Wraithbone, White Scar or Grey Seer to fully utilise the excellent flow and contrast properties of Contrast Paints.
