Warhammer Citadel Colour Contrast Frostheart 29-57
Contrast paints combine the flow of a Shade paint with the coverage and adhesion of a Layer paint, allowing miniatures to be painted quickly and effectively with just a single coat. Frostheart is ideal for strong, cool blue tones and icy effects on armor, fabrics, creatures, or magical elements, creating crisp contrasts and impressive depth.
Contrast Paints function as both a base color and shading at the same time, automatically enhancing details and significantly speeding up the painting process. When applied over metallic paints, Frostheart alters the color tone without losing the metallic texture, making it especially suitable for frosted weapons or enchanted equipment.
For optimal results, light-colored undercoats are recommended. The primers Wraithbone, White Scar, and Grey Seer are particularly well suited, as they best support the excellent flow properties and translucent character of Contrast paints.
