Warhammer - Citadel Colour: Base The Fang 21-32
Base colours are developed for the first, opaque coat of paint on miniatures and offer a high pigment density as well as strong adhesion. The Fang is ideal for dark, cool blue-grey tones and is particularly well suited for armour, fabrics, vehicles as well as frosty, nordic or order-specific colour schemes. The paint covers reliably and forms an even foundation for further layering and shading steps.
Base paints can be applied evenly and ensure a clean, stable colour base on which highlights and shading can be shown to their best advantage. The Fang is excellently suited as a base colour for cold blue-grey areas, Space Wolves colour schemes or grim designs with clear structure.
For optimal results, it is recommended to thin the paint slightly and apply it in one to two even coats. This creates a smooth, opaque base without losing fine details.
