Warhammer - Citadel Colour: Base Castellan Green 21-14
Base paints are developed for the first, opaque colour application on miniatures and offer a high pigment density as well as strong adhesion. Castellan Green is ideally suited for muted, military green tones and is particularly well suited for armour, vehicles, uniforms, fabrics as well as tactical or nature-inspired colour schemes. The paint provides reliable coverage and forms an even foundation for further layering and shading steps.
Base paints can be applied evenly and ensure a clean, stable colour base on which highlights and shadows come into their own optimally. Castellan Green is excellently suited as a base colour for armies with a realistic or battle-worn look as well as for weathered surfaces.
For optimal results, it is recommended to thin the paint slightly and apply it in one to two even coats. This creates a smooth, opaque base without losing fine details.
